  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    Why cut dairy? Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, mozzarella sticks are all good sources of protein. As long as your getting the right macro split and eating ~1 g protein per lb of body weight your fine.

    It takes a little skill and finesse but as long as you have the leaf at the right case it's not too difficult. Cigar molds also help a good bit but aren't a necessity. The trickier part is blending. That's where it becomes an art IMO.

    Another brewer and guitar player here!! Are you on HBT by any chance? When I'm not doing dad or brewing my hobbies are ; food and beer, cooking, bocce, hot peppers, chess, weight lifting, and the newest addition of rolling my own cigars.     Thats awesome!! Its obviously a little early but do they hold training camps? When I was younger I used to go to the Panthers camp and it was a great experience. A full week of getting put through the ringer by the teams staff on and off the ice. If they do something similar I highly recommend...

    I went to school with one of the owners/rollers and I don't think they'll be blowing up anytime soon. Personally their blends never did it for me and construction can be a bit inconsistent but regardless I just don't think they can handle that kind of volume being a small family run operation...

    Xikar stopped accepting butane?

    I eventually had the same issue with my Xikar. I was still able to refill it but not without getting butane everywhere. I don't have a fix for you though I replaced mine at the B&M.
