  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    I think you have a good point Geoffrie. Most strains heal within 2-3 weeks. But, I have seen strains that take 2-4 months to heal or longer. I don't think it hurts to do a very cheap joint injection to gain some information. I try to practice good practical economical medicine. We all pay...

    So the ortho guy just jumped to an MRI? That's a $1200 test. I prefer to inject the knee with a little Marcaine/Lidocaine/Depomedrol first. Often it's just a strain and the injection will cure the issue. It's therapeutic as well as diagnostic. If the pain returns then you most likely have...
