  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    I think they tend to overhumidify tubed cigars because many see it as storage device not the temporary transport device it is intended to be. i don't mind the opus tins as they don't seal very well and still allow some air movement. Again I keep my humi a little on the conservative side at 65

    If you have been to Cuba you will know nothing would cripple the economy there more then a shortage on rubbers. Good thing is I am happily married because you could sure get yourself into trouble there.

    Had an even wierder one happen today. There were lots of sticky spots on the cigar under the cedar. Best answer I can come up with was sap from the cedar. I just smoked and it was fine. Not the best Opus I have ever had but still an opus so it filled the need.

    I love it for the fact that when a great box hits the shelf you load up. Always try to be the first to smoke out of any box on the shelf.:razz:

    I am a little less particular then most. I only worry about age if the box has a date on it. If it doesn't I assume it is ready to smoke.
