• BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    Priceless

Looks like a pretty good trade off. But I seem to only see two weeks worth of smokes there.:rolling:

    Another new regulation

The numbers are unrealistic. I think that the sin taxes in Canada support almost all of are Medical system. We pay $12 for a pack of cigarettes. $25 for a dozen bud. WE have reduced smoking to 16.5% but no where near those predictions. Canada is almost like a test lab as to how far you can...

    Today's Smoke (2004-2022 Archive)

Had a 00 cohiba lancero. It was pretty good but a little to refined for my liking.

    Another new regulation

Other then the complete ban on flavoured cigars and cigarettes we already have all of those rules and more in place. Whoever is saying that they will be able to get smokers down under 5% only needs to look to Canada to figure out that find out that if smokers want to smoke they will no matter...

    Whats going on Moro?

You did fine making the second page. I figure people will begin to worry if you have enough time on your hands to make the top 20. Nothing wrong with being choosy about what you post.

    Whats going on Moro?

Okay it has been a long time since anyone was ever close to Moro for monthly post counts. I remember Hardcore tried hard to keep up for a while but no one was ever very close. Moro is in fourth spot http://www.botl.org/community/forums/misc.php?do=cybtpimx I have no idea how this has...

    What to buy

Gonna have to smoke a lancero today. Just to see how the vintage is. This will have to come off of the shelf though as everything else I have picked up is for a herf later in the summer. Just can't show up with weak cigars:cbig:

    Cutting a Cigar!?

I sure thought we did. I take no offense to it I would expect him to say it to me in person if possible too. I think that text comes accross harsher then it needs to some times and in person would never be as politically correct as we are here.

    Cutting a Cigar!?

OK I am lazy. I sent my xikar scissors to Jay. I just never could get into them. I am a bit of redneck too so when the palio isn't handy a finger nail has been known too work. I tend to chomp on cigars a bit much so the cut looks like shat in a few minutes anyways.

    What to buy

Yeah I am sure. I am willing to pay $36 a stick. When the americans show up at the shop they choke at $25 a stick.:peace:

    Cutting a Cigar!?

To start out with I would sugest a double bladed cutter. Invest in a decent one either a Palio (my favorite) or a Xikar. Punches are fine but don't work for all cigars. I don't mind a notch cutter either but not all the time. Alot of brothers love scissors but I think they are attached to...

    What to buy

I think I am going to say screw the budget and buy both. The great part is the sancho's only come in boxes of 10 and the Lancero's are 5 packs so I am not going out too far.

    What to buy

the corona especial is my favorite cohiba. But I took all i could get. I was excited as I never manage to find aged cohiba's. Almost anything else we get reasonably regularly. But the Sancho's are a huge cigar and quite a deal for the money.

    What to buy

So I had a bit of a score today at the store. I managed to pick up 2 five packs of Cohiba Corona Especial's from may 2000, 2 five packs of Cohiba lanceros from May 2000 as well and I smoked a Sancho Panza Sancho from 98. I have a little left in my cigar budget and am trying to decide if I get...

    Hey Red Wings Fans

Nope tied to those nasty coyotes. Don't worry we don't have a good team right now either. Biggest thing going for Canadian teams at the moment is that no one want to see us lose another team like quebec or winnipeg so we all have great attendance. Plus at least half the countries eats sleeps and...
