  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    Yep, lots and lots of opinions on this. But, to answer your original question, cellophane breathes, so it won't prevent the cigar from being properly humidified.

    That story is exactly why I don't even look at cigar prices until I have $$ in hand, and I'm ready to buy. I used to always check deals out, find something great, then it would be gone by time I got paid. Too much disappointment for my poor little heart to take!

    I'd be more concerned about extreme heat. Just make sure to let them sit at room temp for a while once you get home before lighting one up.

    I'm curious where you got that from, as that's the opposite of what I've read and what I understand of human anatomy. The fact that the membranes in the mouth are so thin, is the very reason there are medications designed to be absorbed directly to your blood stream sublingually.

    I'm pretty sure Pete has said earlier in this thread there is absolutely no difference in the blends of these sticks. Just closed foot and pigtails on the early release. As far as the wet packed goes, IIRC, he said the early release didn't need it because they would be fresher.
