  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    Wait til summer rolls around down here. I'll post you a great screenshot of the temp. To stay cool though, it's usually a case of shorts and singlets, and stay inside. Unless you're heading to a pool, or other air conditioned building ;)

    I had the Padron, the wife had the RP. I dunno if it was a natty or a maddy, but I think it was a 4000. And I know it was toothy as Hell. I could have sanded back a chest of drawers with it!

    This surprised me. Fairly leathery and smooth, but by no means challenging. Is a great smoke to have whilst having a good conversation with the bride.

    Brewed a hefe and a rye IPA this past weekend. I thought to myself... There's gotta be at least 40% headspace there, I'll be okay. Wyeast 3056 strikes again!

    I've currently got 5gal of my hopped up hefe and 5gal of an English IPA in fermenters... Having problems with the IPA yeast doing its job... I fear it may have stalled...

    +1 I reckon that's what's happened here too. Saisons generally seem to have a few volumes of carbonation about them as well, so if you're using a little more priming sugar, its really important primary fermentation is finished. Last thing you want it bottle bombs. An acronym for this may be...
