• BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    Today's Smoke (2004-2022 Archive)

A Warped Cigars prototype blend with a different wrapper from the last one I reviewed. More sweet, soft spice than the last one with a more pronounced cinnamon and dark fruit backbone.

    Warped Cigars Prototype....

Yup! This cigar is very different from his old blends and the people he is working with this time around have access to much more tobacco than his old factory. It'll be a fun stick to hunt down

    Warped Cigars Prototype....

So Kyle gave me the opportunity to test out a couple test blends from his forthcoming line... These are my thoughts on the most recent, updated blend.... Pre-light : good draw - raisins, molasses 1st third - got some good pepper from the closed foot. Fresh leather, toasted tobacco...

What Cuban cigar had the best flavor profile for you?

I'm partial to anything Bolivar (BPC, BBF, BRC, etc.) or Ramon Allones, but H. Upmann (MAG 46, No. 2) is making it's way into my heart. I've also been experimenting with some more Mote, RyJ and HdM lines as well.

    Cardboard Packs Aging

Most people say take them out of the cardboard because the cigars can and do take on a cardboard taste after a while.
