  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    It could take years depending on how often you smoke, your taste buds, etc... I would say that for me personally it took me about 10-12 months before I could really get into the particular flavors, determining regions of tobacco, etc... I would definitely look at a flavor wheel for a starting...

    Corona's smokes are too wet. Whenever I go there, I always bring my own smokes and then purchase something to take home and dry out. Everything in there is at like 75% RH.

    LCD > Plasma. Anything from Samsung or even the high end Vizios are great. I have a 52" sharp aquos which is good, but it was a gift and I would have preferred samsung.

    No. You are right. Regular cigars don't have flavoring, but all flavors are, are natural chemical compounds that are found in different minerals and plants.

    Natural Chemicals. It's the same reason why we can make jellybeans taste like coffee and nuts, except some occur naturally and others are manufactured. Different regions, tobaccos and soils all have different chemical makeups which influence the final product.

    Got a call from them yesterday... the unit they were going to send me ended up being in horrible condition after inspection. So they said they would send me a brand new one for $10 more. Perfect. =)
