  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    I'm the opposite. I like holding the pipes in my hand, and like when they feel solid & heavy. Any idea what makes the Boswell pipes heavy? Thick walls(something else that I prefer in a pipe), or the type of briar used?

    You know what's funny about that...? I've never had a pipe that smoked "bad" to the point where I don't want to use it. I also think Boswell pipes are a pretty good deal considering that they are custom made...no two are the same.

    This guy's lead count is gonna be a little high. LOL OK... back to the thread's topic. A MUWAT Baitfish or a Papas Fritas goes nicely with a cup of coffee, and doesn't require a whole hour to smoke it.

    Bridge repair/renovation. That's what all bridges were painted with. We have to use half-face respirators for certain tasks...like removing rivets or using an oxy/acetylene torch. Blood tests for lead usually every month...

    A plus to being an Ironworker. I can smoke a cigar on the drive in to work. No one cares if you smell like smoke cause by 7:30am we all smell like iron, air tool oil, grease, dust, EdgeCreme, lead paint, etc. LOL [emoji41] [emoji106]
