• BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    Today's Smoke (2004-2022 Archive)

Just got back from an EO/Zikar event. Ortega handed me a robusto & a lancero of the Cubao & it is great. Picked up a small variety to sample too. I also picked up my first Zikar powder coated folding scissor cutters. Love it! (20% off also!) I'm heading to NY for the afternoon &...

    Today's Smoke (2004-2022 Archive)

I just finished a Savinelli Rico Y Raro torpedo that the owner of a local B&M gave me about a month ago. The only info I could find on it was: http://www.savinelliusa.com/rico_y_raro.htm Cons: This cigar was under-filled - the draw was (dare I say) tooo easy. Burnt a little uneven as a...

    Finally! A cigar i DIDN"T like

Sorry you had a bad experience. I would have never guessed it with the nub though. My wife and I both liked them for some time, but got kinda sick of em.. I need variety in my smokes. The Cameroon was my favorite. Maybe you had a bad one? Although... The last one I had (the fat torpedo)...

I've had one each of the 2003, the 2006 and a Zerocu west coast. My fav is hands down - the J21 though. The 2003 & WC were very similar: My thoughts were that the 2003 was abit more 'woodsy' and the WC a bit more "peppery'... The 2006 was very very tasty, but didn't seem to have the...

    Mac 1968

I just finished a Macanudo 1968 robusto that I had purchased as part of a three-pack promotion. First impressions were that it was well made (no surprise there). It was firm, but 'gave' some when pinched, no soft spots or loosness about it. Though it had some prominant veins, there were no...

    Get Your Tatuaje Shirts!

"...something Paris Hilton would say." HAhaha.. Yeah - I think that angle of marketing doesn't really match well with the cigar. I'm all over #3.

    LFD Limitado III question

No it is not. A local B&M about 1/2 north of me opened a box. Gonna have to make my way back very soon - great selection!

    La Aurora question

The 'Barrel Aged' is a bit too much of the rum taste. The best one that I tried of that line was the Torpedo.
