• BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

  • I am thankful for all of my BOTL friends! Everyone please be safe and enjoy your time with family, friends who however you are choosing to spend the day!

    San Cristóbal de La Habana

I saw a few threads on this cigar, but mostly reviews from several years back..and then just one general inquiry. I'm curious as to peoples thoughts on this oft-overlooked (at least as far as I can tell) cigar. I've smoked one La Punta, and it's been a while back now...but do recall the...

    What would you buy

I like this month / year idea being suggested as well. Have to see if I can drum something up for my kid now that I think about it. But there should be PLENTY to choose from as far as 2010 inventory goes. And I also agree with others in that it doesn't have to be LE/RE type, or even...

    Liga Privada T52 Construction Issues

Never once had a draw issue with any Liga product (pig, rat, 9 52 etc.)... Come to think of it, I believe there is a thread identical to this one floating around out there....only draw was not the concern as I recall. It was staying lit....but going from memory there.

    What would you buy

Trinidad Robusto T... And if your son/daughter should have a "T" first name....lock it up!! ;)

    Favorite Stout?

Started the night w/ a Left Hand Fade to Black, and now sipping on an Oskar Blues Ten Fidy. Both of these are firsts.....both very different. The Ten Fidy w/ a sweeter, more caramel/toffee type flavor....and almost a black coffee type after taste.. The fade to black was very much...

    Tatuaje Cigar Mas Fino

I think a BOTL site sponsor who can write Ritalin prescriptions is in order. Maybe that would help?? We could all start bombing each other with prescription meds...

    Which is your favorite Viaje?

Thought the Samurai was the Platino blend.....and Fernando was the Oro... And yes, with the DES and jar robusto both being Exclusivo blends, that got my vote.

    Favorite Stout?

I gotta comment on this one...cuz I've had plenty of Guiness in my day, and would take ANY of the Stouts mentioned in prior posts to any style of Guiness. I've heard the tap-theory and am sure there is some truth to that, but by the bottle is just fine in my opinion...if....IF you're drinking...

    Favorite Stout?

Nice to hear......I've got a bottle of this in my fridge currently, that I've been waiting to try. Either will do so tonight or tomorrow night! Lotta love for Founders and Goose Island....amongst some others. Some good shopping lists will be made from the feedback here. :bottle:

    Favorite Stout?

Can't say as I have Andy.....maybe someone else has though... Has she tried the regular Chocolate Stouts? My wife is not a beer drinker whatsoever...mostly wine, and vodka type concoctions.... But her hands down favorite beer ever is the Rogue Chocolate. She keeps drinking my...

    Favorite Stout?

Good article there.....thanks for posting that. And I really only started paying attention to the "age" thing because the Abyss labels read best to be drank after Nov. 2011. So...I'm trying to acquire some more to do just that and see if I can tell/taste any difference.

    Favorite Stout?

Figured since there's a thread for IPAs......prolly should be one for the Stout lovers out there as well...to share their faves and turn some folks on to new stuff they may not have tried. I'm not going to make any distinction on Imperial, Porter, Oatmeal, Milk etc. etc..if it's a "stout" of...

    Bell's Hopslam

well, I hadn't until I googled it....lol. I'm sure it's a very real thing, not being able to taste hops in other lesser hopped beers due to drinking overly hopped ones consistently. Maybe I have that, I dunno. But I still enjoy Bear Republic Racer 5 just the same. Had a couple last night, and...

    Bell's Hopslam

while I'm not positive as to how fresh the two hearted were Adam, the 6'er was gone in the first two days of landing on my doorstep....think I might still have the bottles in recycling to check for a born on date or something. I didn't hate em whatsoever...far from it.....they were...
