Also... you have set the printer up via the control panel physically on the unit to use your wireless router correct? You need to tell it which SSID to connect to and the encryption key if any.
Haha alright, sorry about that. The HP's work really well, were you able to locate the printer using the installation utility after turning the firewall off (or to 0)?

What kind of printer is this? Are you setting up both the printer and the laptop to connect to the wireless access point? Do you have any firewall software on the laptop? You said you tried plugging both in, I would assume you mean plug both of them into the ethernet ports on the router? Back to...
