Unless you've got big rust holes, or scratches deep to the metal, you might be suprised how "non-beater" it would look after a good detail.

Just detailed mine yesterday. After washing the whole car was polished with Optimum Polish/Compound 50/50, then on to Meguiars #80 Glaze, and finally Wolfgang Deep Gloss Sealant. Its not as nice out today as yesterday, but I hope to finish up with the interior and put a coat of Natty's Blue...

Back when season 1 came out I watched it for about half way through, then I think I quit because I didn't have time. That was an amazing show however, and I think I'll add the first season to my Netflix queue.
