i agree with you. I'm still don't know if I buy that the chemical can be "washed" away for just the reason you stated. but i know mine were messed up when I immersed them, and just wanted to warn yins. :)

well, the chemical part I have heard from the vendors mouths, well fingers. Otherwise they'd just be regular silica beads. The chemical is what allows them to release at the humidity set points. Now what chemical it actually is is guarded in a veil of secrecy, or they aren't privy to that...

weird. maybe their bound by some other rule since they're kinda attached to ruth's chris or maybe make most of their money by alcohol sales? I think you have to make like 15% of your income from tobacco to be able to claim an exemption from the ban.

there's a few in the city area...just depends on what part you're looking at. Havana Club and Cross Street Tobacco are near the downtown area. Mt. Washington Cigar is further north. nice smoking lounge. Humidour, which their new location i hear is amazing is a little further north as well...

where are you staying? downtown baltimore? and I think Fredneck might have got it wrong...I've been able to smoke at all the cigar lounged / shops I've been to since the ban took effect?

Not cracked,although some of them are. Here's my issue. I keep my RH beads in a tube from wrapped in pantyhose (so the bead dust doesn't fall out everywhere) and it looked like some of them were starting to get brown. In the process of transferring the beads to a bowl, I dropped them all on...
