I've said this before - but this is just a reminder. I'll be breaking BOTL over time in order to get it into a far better place. Just be patient if you can't reach us! We'll be back
LCDH in Cancun or any others in the Caribbean are going to weigh your wallet...BYOC's with you is how I do it and I bring NC's and CC's...lots cheaper.
I stopped rotating my stock because quite frankly....it interfered with my OCD. Rotating shouldn't ever be an issue as long as you aren't cramming your humidors/tupperware/coolers/wineadors with cigars. 75% filling any of these is recommended...anything over that and you are just looking for...
Done this many moons ago. Brought a NC empty box with me along with bands to match the box...buy a box of CC's and slip the bands on the gars...tell the Customs guy I have a box of crappy NC's and offer him one to which he laughed and sent me on my way. Sometimes you just have to act...
As was suggested....take the original bands off and put your own on there...you can make your own bands with a slip of paper and number them and keep your own corresponding list of what is #1 and 2 and so on. Keep your record inside your checked bag(s) and when you get home slip the original...
I hear ya....I keep telling myself to stop with the newer cigars but I keep reading the reviews on this and feel like it's pulling me to order a 5 pak....somebody hep meeeeee!
Stuffing your front pocket with a table top lighter may send the wrong impression to those who see you coming their way. As was suggested keep the TT at home and buy yourself an inexpensive lighter to carry around but that's just a suggestion. Double and triple lighters can be a nuisance esp...
Based on your review I'm buying a 5'r...too good a review not to be taken seriously. I almost felt like I was smoking it while I was reading this then found my cigar fingers holding nothing but air.
Yep....Lugers will change your mind about steaks. Chicago Steak Company is really good and a friend of mine runs a Distribution Plant for Certified Angus Beef close to Boston....steak so tender that all it needed was a butter knife to cut it.
Thx for this thread...I keep seeing all sorts of china cabinets and other furniture that would make for a great humidor and while I was at Costco I saw a beautiful piece of furniture with roll out drawers and such and could possibly keep about 3000 or more cigars in it. Simple things like you...
Chrome comes up with phishing attack....but I have one of those Google Chrome lappies where you can just powerwash it in case something goes wrong...so far after 5 years this thing purrs like a kitten...no issues and starts up like a rocket...10 seconds and Im running.
Gotta go with Ninja on this....why drybox when you can keep your humidor at just about any RH you like? Dryboxing has become fashionable to achieve a balanced overall cigar where the wrapper tends to be 'wet' or stored at too high of a RH and then trying to bring it all down in one or two days...
We do appreciate your updates because we do care...the irony is we sometimes forget to be grateful until something like this happens and we are forced into reality as to how we really feel about those we love. Take nothing for granted....we hardly ever learn a lesson in life that comes too...
Of course prayers will be sent on your behalf. .for your wife and child as our capacity to try ànd understand why these things happen tend to greatly confuse us. In time things will make sense as we grow in wisdom and understanding but the wound is all too fresh now. What matters is he's being...
No doubt there will be a "break in" period...and yes there is already worldwide distribution of product but nothing comparable to what the US would bring. That quantifies a different approach to distribution and they are hardly ready for this much business unless they are hiding the factories...
I remember when this subject matter first came up and everybody gets excited about "maybe" having access to CC's and it being legal to purchase. Zippos take is exactly what I pointed out a year or so ago....the Embargo has gone on for so many years and to think that because a stroke of the pen...
What has 2 thumbs and loves a humidor project? This guy. Sealing is the biggest obstacle and these days one doesn't buy tools. ..they rent them. Cedar and trays...cut to size and that humidor project is a huge win.
