Reading this thread made me dig into my states tobacco use tax laws.
The tax rate on tobacco products is 5% of the manufacturers price. The manufacturers price is the established price at which the manufacturer sells to a wholesaler.
Here's what I would pay if I missed 12 months of payment...

Got the NewAir in today. Cleaned it with baking soda, distilled water, and distilled vinegar a few times.
Threw in some cedar boxes, some baking soda and Equiscat. I'll let it run for a about a week before I throw any sticks in there.

Yeah, I'm keeping the Frigidaire one. I just plan to keep it in the basement turned off.
I move every couple of years, so my next place may not have a basement so thats another reason I went with getting a thermoelectric model.
