I think you are better off with venting the air than trying to scrub it, the cost of filters would get stupid in a short bit of time. I've got several air purifiers in the house, but not even my best can keep up with a couple cigars going.

What type of humidor? is it temp controled and with what? How old is your humidor and did it hold humidity before with a different device? Have you added lots of new sticks? Is it packed to the gills? what is the humidity of the room it's kept in? If you take the tube out does the humidity start...

Not likely, but a large legal bill and lots of frustration are possible. I don't hear of people getting caught very often, but it will ruin your day if you do.
