Perhaps some RF's will only work with shooting the pin. The pinseeker, will give you yardage to the front edge, a sand bunker, a tree or even the front or back of a water hazard. It won't give a number if you shoot water with it, but I usually pick a bank of the water and work off that. Funny...

The Pinseeker, no refector needed. I just shoot the pin, that's it. I've found the RF to help in that 125 and in range. I carry 3 wedges most the time, nice to know-if you want to go by and bring it back-or deadstick it.

Have the guy selling it, look at the back-if theres a drum looking thing about the size of a large grapefruit-then it's a compressor unit. The picture appears to have a flat rear wall, with no indentation-which would probably make it a TE unit.
