Had this, this afternoon. Started out well. Then this happened: No problem. I'll smoke through it. Nope. I'll pitch it. Despite the burn problems, this was a nice medium bodied smoke. I'll try em again for sure :)

I'm with ya on that one! I'm def gona make it either way. I'm thinking as long as I don't add the coconut to the boil and just add to secondary maybe not as much oil will be released... Toast the coconut in a wok before adding it to secondary. The toasting will render a lot of the oils out...

These are just great. At one point I was getting cotton candy on the retro. Bizarre.

I've currently got a black hefeweizen in the fermenting fridge. Hopped solely with Nelson Sauvin. About 5 IBU at 60 mins, then about 13 IBU at 10 mins. Will dry hop at 1.5g/L. Used Breiss Midnight wheat to get the colour without the roast character.

It's Australia Day! It's also my 6th wedding anniversary today, and my wife got me this So that's on the cards, as well as a rye beer from a local brewery. Cheers brothers! STRAYA!!!

MU'd a Series P toro, tight ass draw and zero smoke output. Followed it up with a Trocadero, which was superb. Burn was razor sharp, draw was perfect, bulk smoke output, and great flavour! Damn good for a 'budget bundle' stick :)
