I've said this before - but this is just a reminder. I'll be breaking BOTL over time in order to get it into a far better place. Just be patient if you can't reach us! We'll be back
I had this same issue with the Monte Gran Reserva, than I realized that when I was drunk in college I went through $50 bottles of vodka and tequilla in like 3-4 hours and have no issue with a $75+ smoke that going to take 90 minutes to complete.
I'd pick up more behikes if they are GB or sale prices. I'll pay $30 per stick for a 56, I don't have a problem with that. But I'm never again paying $50 for a 56. The behike 52 is probably construction and flavor wise a $15-$18 stick. when they are popping up at that price, I will buy them up...
I think behikes are going to get cheaper. the whole line is overhyped i'll prob never get a box again. they are just not that good of a cigar imo. i'll take 25 fresh monte 2's or BBFs any day of the week now over 10 bhks
no one is getting an OFAC smackdown jesus christ guys please please please relax. there hasn't been any action from the OFAC with regard to ISOMs since 2009, and the current admin has been easing restrictions for years. please use common sense lets not start up some irrational paranoia.
if you have not been waiting longer than 30 business days you have nothing to worry about. also if your vendor guarantees delivery you have nothing to worry about. most of you by now are experienced and should know who the good guys are.
If you are serious about long term aging, get the Cab. Cigars age better in cabs. If you think you are going to burn through 50 of them in the next 15 months get boxes.
I tried the 56 last night and man, I really don't understand the hype with the Behikes. Don't get me wrong, it's a better than average and good smoke. But it's not really that complex imo. I got them at a discount, and would buy them at that price again but I could never see paying retail for...
just relax. i've had a package sit in customs for 30 days, ask for a replacement package from the vendor then have both of them show up at my door on the same day. just be very patient. if your vendor guarantees delivery you are fine.
how you doin from LI
lived on western ave near the intersection of quail for many years in the heart of the student ghetto. when fountain day and keggs and eggs was still awesome.
had to try these. trying my first 56 size tonight then hopefully going to forget about them for a few years. had a few 52's never thought the hype on those were real.
60/60 in my long term aging humi that gets opened maybe 4 times a year (i inspect inventory once per quarter). 65% in my smoking humidor that gets opened multiple times per day. i would keep it lower but i just open it too much.
