I've said this before - but this is just a reminder. I'll be breaking BOTL over time in order to get it into a far better place. Just be patient if you can't reach us! We'll be back
The 80th is definitely a fantastic smoke, but no, it's not vastly different than the 1926's or 1964's - somewhere in between, IMO. It's a real cool size/shape & a guaranteed good stick. I can see someone having a bit of dissapointment if you're expecting the holy grail of cigars though.
I have one I've been holding onto for about a year now - shaved off the cap at one point, draws real nice - couldn't put flame to it... yet...
The few I've had were mild-medium, but good flavor...
Smoking a Series P toro given to me by Russel P.
Goin to meet up w/ Hardcore at CI after work... They're having a 'pallet sale' (Large orders that they offer big discounts on), so it should be interesting...
IMHO - The Decade is the best RP, period.
BUT... as with so many of his cigars, I've had unreliability... I mean, one stick hit's the spot... then I try to do it agan & it's awfull... WTF? This has happened with every RP stick I've had... Sometimes they're great, sometimes they're turds w/...
Oh yeah - Smoking slowly is defiitely worth it.
Unfortunately, I too am guilty of smoking fast....
And Moro - I'm just messing with yuh.
Oh, yeah - since you'll be hitting, what, 3000 posts, probably by noon? Early congrats!
:innocent:
Count Chocula Rocks!!!!
It's been probably 15 years since I've had that...
I usually do anything but cereal (though admitedly I did have some lucky charms recently). Yogurt & granola, breakfast bar, banana, eggs & fixins are the usual... (not all at once).. hha..
Mmmmmmm... Tasty!
Hendy - you are in for a real experience!
I've only had a few oldies... But a couple of those are on my list to smoke in the not too distant future..
Very cool.
The event sounds pretty crazy too - Tattoo artist & body painting chics...
I don't know how they're pulling it off with such a small store, but they seem to be going all out for yeh!
If it's the only one in the area, call on the owner & explain the situation to him. I hate 'rat', but jeeze - that employee is gonna ruin the owners entire inventory.
Or just open up your own cigar store since you've identified an area in 'need'...
Simple as that.
haha.
