I've said this before - but this is just a reminder. I'll be breaking BOTL over time in order to get it into a far better place. Just be patient if you can't reach us! We'll be back
Got a growler fill of this on my way home from work and just now having my 1st glass. Solid IPA for sure. I feel this has the juicy fruit component to it that I only get from Lagunitas Sucks.
Before that, it was this..
Not a CG....more a lonsdale than CG. Still a great smoke though.
As for CGs, in no particular order....and other than the Mag 46 you already listed as that's a favorite of mine..
Cohiba Siglo IV
RA Superiores
SLR Serie A - very under-rated smoke IMO
HdM Epi 1
Just picked up a 5'er of RyJ...
Easy...
If you prefer Maduros, get the GE. If you enjoy the classic Monte profile however - woody, coffee, nutty w/ a little spice.... save your money and get the Edmundo. It's a better cigar IMO & it's not close. Nothing "classic Monte" about any EL Montes I've ever smoked. I've tried em &...
I agree. I'm done buying Cuban ELs. If I want Maduro flavors ill smoke an NC.
I'd use that $200-250 and buy a full 25 ct box of a regular production cc that you love. Depending on what that is, you might have some $ left over for a 10 ct box even.
JMO of course.
The concept behind this project (all tobacco from same field/crop) was a good idea. The execution of it however, from the pricing (high $), to buying "futures" etc. was something the cigar industry wasn't ready for IMO...perhaps never will be. Assume that's partially why there's no rush to get...
Some good insight on a cigar you didn't inquire about (BRC)...but it does fit in w/ the title of your thread.
I had the same question a couple years ago, and believe the info is still relevant...
Fantastic news Adam....good for you bro.
Keeps hope alive that there are job opportunities out there for folks to actually do what they love for a living. Good luck to you, and happy drinking!
Oh, and tell em to ease up on the malt in the Hop Wallop ;). Always favored the Hop Devil as a...
Did one of these threads a while back & am sure many here are the same as they were over a year or more ago...
Deschutes Abyss and Founders KBS & Imperial Stout I suspect will still be duking it out for the top spot in this category come this winter.
The only one I've had so far this fall is...
IMO you'd be hard pressed to find a better smoking Habano ROTT than the Trinidad Robusto T.
Bitch is, they aren't all that cheap....and are also discontinued, yet fortunately still easy to find for the time being.
+1 .... By a good amount over second place as well. Which is saying something since my storage isnt vast by any means. I have a few 2004s left, some 2006 from a cabinet, a box of 2010 and an almost full 2011 cab. Not been disappointed by this smoke even once from various years...and the 2004 may...
Upmann Royal Robusto for $7.85 / stick?
That's gotta be a typo. Haven't seen anything less than $13 / stick anywhere. Not saying the rest isn't true as I know Canadian prices are crazy, but that price on the RR American jumped out at me.
