Three Floyd's Alpha King looks/sounds good....I'll have to keep an eye out for that one. Since you're a Lagunitas lover, keep an eye out for their Hop Stoopid, and Little Sumpin' Sumpin' Ale (Nice Hops, but w/ a little sweetness)........both very good, and I enjoy more than their regular IPA.

Only one here that i've tried is the Port Brewing Wipeout IPA, and that was indeed delicious.......I'll keep an eye out for these others. As well as start paying attention to the farts thing, as I hadn't noticed....LOL.

Smoked one tonight Nate, and i'd absolutely agree...WAY better than the last couple I had. It's been at least 6 months, and this one had a lot more flavor than I remember. Made for one helluva smoke while I was watching my kid go door to door trick or treatin'. Great cigar, and awesome...

I need to give this a try....as well as the Rogue Santa's private reserve.. Typically, i've been mostly into the Jubel Ale, but I've drank that for too many years in a row....need to broaden the ol' horizons a bit :bottle::santa:....

So....ever since trying my first Pliny the Elder almost 6-8 months ago now....I've grown fascinated with Hops. Coincidentally, it would appear I started my IPA journey at the proverbial peak, at least it seems. Pliny has become the standard to which I judge all other IPA's. The Hops are so fresh...

Had a bottle of the HC Barrell Proof sent to me from a BOTL in Japan... It's very good. Think Ron Zacapa 23, only considerably less sweetness, and a little more ooomph (sharper bite)....but still quite smooth. Depends on the mood...but I like em' both.

Yeah, don't get me wrong......I think they're still clearly different. But the Summerfest Robusto was the only one that gave me that graham cracker spice that I get every time I smoke a PSD4. I think how I put it in another forum a day or two after I smoked one.....is it's a PSD4 on roids...
