    Sibling Rivalry: Viaje Summerfest Robusto

This is a great stick IMO....and one of my favorite Viajes. Never smoked the Shaggy Torp, and wasn't interested simply due to it's size and "the shag"....but the Robustos I thought were pretty awesome, and I think they'll age VERY nicely.

    Smoking Time?? Who cares!

My .02....not worth much, but you hit it in the subject of this thread Clint..."who cares". Either choose to pay attention, or to not. I personally don't give any weight to how long it takes someone to smoke a cigar. We each do things a little differently. Much ado about nothing IMO.

    Tat Verocu Tubos Review

Nice review! I agree...these are nowhere near the quality of smoke that the East/West are. And Im not convinced age is something that will bring them "up to snuff" either. Wrapper issues on this stick have been well documented (and is even evident in these great pics)......whether it be humidity...

    Final list for Punta Cana

you've got a solid list there for sure... We're it me....I'd figure out a way to get the Tat 7th Reserva in there somewhere, and the Liga Dirty Rat for a good end of the day, post meal cigar. Not sure what you'd have to swap em' with, but those are two amazing smokes IMO. Enjoy your trip bro!

    Viaje Platino Reserva

Nice review. Interesting touch with the addition of the exerpts from the book.......can't say I read em' all, but never seen that before. As if we were reading and smoking w/ you ;). I refrained from buying this cigar over the regular Platino, simply b/c I thought the only difference was the...

Viaje Platino Robusto - Bullet Review

Well.....sure sounds like you enjoyed it Ryan. Don't know if you're married or not, but i'd be happy to draft an apology letter to your wife, or fiancee, or g/f.....as she's most certainly likely to see your CC balance due go up now...LOL! Great review bro!...and welcome to...

La Aroma de Cuba - Mi Amor robusto

This is another one on my ever-growing list of I want to try......but is certainly up near the very top. Sounds like a great smoke, and darn near everyone who smokes/reviews it...at least that I've read....seems to love it. Nice review.

    IPCPR Review: Tatuaje 7th Reserva

Smoked one of these this past Saturday with Costacoug... Damn fine smoke. Easily one of the best I've had in a while I'd say. Absolutley LOVE that these will be a regular release......cuz if the future batches continue to be as good as the cigar I just had.....I'll be upset if I don't have at...

    Chasidor?

Going through this right now actually. Made my order at the end of June. Got an email over 10 days ago, that it should ship within 3-5 days. Nothing since. I've been patient, and know he's got his hands full....I'm just anxious to get my Vino up and running, so I can actually assess my...

    2004 Opus X Forbidden X Toro Review

Ron's 06 was in his top 5...... and Craig's 04 was in his top 5... hmmm......so what you guys are saying is these Forbidden X's are pretty good then??....LOL! Top'd this thread cuz Ron's review of the 06 forced me to check the humi, and I do indeed have the 04. You should be proud...

    Pregnant smoke? Which one?

This is a key question..... How much age is on this here Opus?. If it's less than a year, then the PL for sure. If it's more.....then it's more difficult. I say, the threshold is 2+ years. If that Opus is 2+ years old, smoke the Opus. If not, go with the PL. How's that for...

    forbidden x

I've got one of these sitting in my humi (a 2004 I believe), that i've had for a year or more now......was part of a "trade", but more or less, I got blown out of the water on that one. Haven't been able to bring myself to smoke it yet.........but when I do, which I will, hopefully I can...

    Getting sick during/after smoking?

then that's your next step in my strictly NON-professional, NON-medical, leisurely smoker opinion... Eat something dude!

    Getting sick during/after smoking?

:waving:hello.... Have you tried the "eating first" thing.....I think that might've been mentioned, but I'm pretty forgetful.

    Getting sick during/after smoking?

sounds to me like you need to eat something before smoking... either that, or nicotine might not just be something your chemical make-up allows you to tolerate. I'd certainly go with the eat-first thing before waiving the white flag though...LOL!

    Tatuaje Pork Tenderloin

As I recall Pete saying (writing)....this is essentially a Taj J21 with a Broadleaf wrapper, so I'd say that one first comes to mind. Certainly matches it in the "strength" dept IMO. If it's the wrapper flavor you're going for.....I'd say you couldn't go wrong with the new Tat 7th Reserva...

    What's Being Drank This Weekend

Currently drinking a Rogue Captain Sig's Northwestern Ale....which is becoming one of my favorites. But also picked up a 6'er of Victory Brewing Hop Wallop (never had, and been wanting to try), and some more DFH 90 minute. I'm ready for some football!

    Tatuaje SW Reserva or Tainos

My personal fave....is the Tat Regios Reserva, but I'm a bigger fan or Robusto's than Churchills, so that has something to do with it as well. No doubt about it....those initial "Reservas" (SW Maddie, Noella, Regios) are easily 3 of the best Pete's released, IMO anyway. Then there's the OR...
