unless you get something with an older band, or buy something that is specifically labelled as vintage (assuming its a purchase online for a 5er or sampler) then you should probably expect that what you bought is less than 1 year old. I doubt online retailers have stock that lasts very long...

why would i do that my dude? I have no problem with a more expensive stick being less tasty than a cheap one and i certainly think a brand name doesn't = quality. i've had cohiba that were great and ones that were meh. even if money wasn't a factor they're not my favorite CC either.
