BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Alcohol dissolves oils. IMO I don't want oils taken from the cigar and put on a towel I can't smoke :) It's probably a negligible amount, but it would haunt me at night. I used the wipe method then dry boxed them for three days. The cab will get a lookie-see every few days to make sure the... -

The vendor responded today offering a 100% refund on the product and compensation for return shipping up to $25. Not too bad. They also included advice on what to do to eliminate the mold should I decide to keep the cigars. They were all the same suggestions provided here. I'm keeping them... -

Well, I called my brother's friend's uncle who is friends with the same Cuban guy that got me the glass-top esplendidos at only 10% above factory price. I followed his suggestion of mixing a 50/50 PG solution in a spray bottle, misting each cigar thoroughly, and putting them back in the cab and... -

The Face showing its ash!
Well, I fully intended to smoke this yesterday, but between all the kids, buddies, and beer I didn't have time. I lit up today and I was prepared to be greeted by a powerhouse. I was kinda let down, but it had nice flavor at least. Things got interesting when it wouldn't ash for the first two...- eric_f
