• BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

All I want is brake pads and tires

Been doing my own brakes(pads, rotors, etc.) for years now. As far as tires go well I gotta go to the tire guy as I don't have that damn tool nor be able to balance them. But as far as brakes go I'm surprised you're having issues... Brakes = Racket for mechanics, simple job can be done in...

    New to scotch

My suggestion for someone who has never had any scotch experience ever would be to keep it simple and on the cheap. Scotch can be very subjective and I would start slow the same goes with many spirits i.e. bourbon, tequilla, rum etc. I would try some Johnny Black and also Dewars 12yo these are...

    Finally Getting Snow!!!!

That was incredible last year, loved it reminded me of my childhood with the old snowfalls. I use to sled off my garage roof into the alley because my Dad would pile the snow up to make a sledding hill. I've got a buddy who is a Chicago fireman and the stories he told of the rescue work last...

    Finally Getting Snow!!!!

This winter hasn't been much like winter really here in the Midwest. Had a very Non-White Christmas, which was just not very pretty. I like snow and if I didn't I wouldn't live here, period! Hell I make some good coin when it snows:grin: They were calling for a really bad winter but so far...

    Real or Fake?

Jere is correct. The year was not on the first release of EL's. At least not the ones that I had of Partagas. In fact from the looks of it from Trevors site they didn't start putting the year on EL bands until 2001. So I'm going to say you have a fugazi!

I love uni as well! Best uni I've ever had was @ Phil Yee's place in Culver City, CA. I went in there and it wasn't crowded and had him just feed me and use his imagination, it was just fantastic!

    Which is your favorite?

Custard machines are cool, it looks like home made fudge coming out, really thick! They don't use ice cream scoopers, they use custard dippers. A dipper kinda looks like a paddle or something and you dip it in the tub and hence the phrase "I'll take a double dipper!" Mike do you know the...
