BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

So to Aaron's point, if they can find that you lied on your application, whether it had to do with the cause of your death or not, they can deny your claim. I could also solve all problems with a 7 gallon conical fermentor, but that comes with issues of temperature control, a full size fridge to try and manage it...etc...etc.. -

Me personally, I decant. Reason is if I make a 2L starter and 5.5 gallons of beer, I'm really pushing the capacity of that 6 gallon bottle if I dump the 2L in..pretty much guaranteeing a major blow off and wasting yeast (suppose the burton union could solve this). So I chill, decant and let it... -

Backing up Dvds to a hard drive.
If you convert them to MP4 formats, yes. on my Mac, I use RipIt for a one pass rip, compress, convert. For two step, I used to use MactheRipper to rip the full size. Then HandBrake to convert to MP4 and shrink. I have probably a terabyte of movies ripped and served up on my iMac to...- mthhurley

it's not the beer...it's the yeast and that's actually more concerning IMO. I don't like blow offs like that, which is why I use Ferm Cap to keep it down. As I understand it, when you get a blow off like that, you're blowing out all the top-cropping yeast, which is the prime stuff. -

Dark Lord Day 2nd Chance
That was quite a chase today, better than any of the Monster Series chases. I got lucky and looked at my phone as soon as I woke up so it was a group effort. I'll post a couple pics of what happened. This was the line behind us. Less than 2 hours after they announced this even happening...
