• BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    Pete/Pepin cigar for BOTL

Pete you've got some of the best cigars out there for smoking, and although I certainly understand why your LE's are so popular, I do wish the "Have to Have's" and "Make a buck" consumers would just remember to take their meds. Understand the Koolaid sh*ts getting old, reminds me of the old...

    Pete/Pepin cigar for BOTL

Sorry, i wasn't clear in the first post, I thought everyone would know this was a joke. There is no talk of a mass run of these or even a second. I will keep asking Pete if we can get a cigar for us, but any serious talk would be for a regular vitola. Just wanted to share this special cigar made...

    Pete/Pepin cigar for BOTL

While on the trip I spoke with Pete about trying to get us a special cigar just for us. After great debate and input from several people, they have made up a prototype. What do you all think? Specal thanks to Pete for input on the white band, to the grand master himself who made this. Pepin...

how do I add active cooling to a coolidor

Adding a thermo electric unit will cost you more cash and time than it's worth. I build a cabinet with thermo-electric and it cost me more in the long run that in I'd just got a wine cooler.

    Myth Busters – Relative Humidity

The oasis is not plugged in, I want to see how much moisture it looses if not needed. it dosn't look like lots, but if your humidor is well sealed, it will creep up your RH even if it dosn't run. Makes sense out of problems I had with mine way back when I got it. I don't actualy still use it...

    restoring dry cigars questions.......

I know common belief is that once the oils dry out, the cigar is flavorless, but I'm not sure that I believe that. First, from the stand point that the oils will leave solids when they dry, so it's not like it evaporated and is gone. Second, is I've smoked at least a hundred cigars that are at...
