  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    What is your favorite RG?

    I don't have a single favorite rg. In general, though, I love a 38, 40, 42, or 46 rg, but there are notable exceptions of course: 28 (LGC MdO No. 3), 52 (BBF), 52+ (Padrón Annies), 46/60 (WOAM), etc. Whatever works for that particular blend. You get the idea....

    I prefer the fatter Padrons (+50 for both 1000 series and Anniversaries) and probably wouldn't smoke the brand as much if it weren't for them.

    Attaching cigar bands to a tabletop?

    You could just use regular Elmer's Glue to attach the bands to the surface and then top them off with some clear acrylic varnish from the art supply store––those are made to seal and won't discolor any dyes.
