• BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

This guy is building me a humidor

Like a boss, lol  On a side note, sometimes we get guys on the forum who are entirely new to cigars and want some guidance on what they should be smoking - I'm kinda thinking we should let you take over in that department for a while. @Glassman what do you think amigo, good idea? ;)

    Dads of Daughters

I have a 10 year old daughter, and there are 7 other girls within a few years of her age (all 6-13) living on our end of the street. So only the 1 that I'm formally responsible for, but sometimes they all end up at my house. My record is 10 at a time, including my own... it can be hectic

    Cigars that Have Wow'd You

Curivari Achilles and Illusione Epernay - both made me say wow because they were so good. Caldwell Savages - somehow, pairing with generic light beer really makes the Savages shine. My first Johnny O, the first time I tasted twang. Wow! A DPG black with some age - was really surprised at how...

I need some spice in my life...

Agree with Pepin, blue label is good but try the black label (y) Also, for some reason I can't help but think of a cheap NC called Swag - Dominican I think? Dark red band, like 2 or 3 bucks on cbid, iirc the one with the teal band was not bad but the dark red band was overly spicy. Not sure...

Black coffee is my go-to but +1 to earl grey, it's an underrated drink pairing IMO. Also unsweetened or *lightly* sweetened iced tea

Recruiting for BOTL Fantasy Football League

Seems like he's been getting shafted all season - if we were counting points totals he'd be in like 6th, so his league-worst record is deceiving... I almost feel kinda bad for @UPTOWNSMOKE this week - yesterday between the hours of noon and 6pm saw his odds of winning go from like 15% in the...

    ISO Veteran Picks by Brand

I'm gonna make a slightly different suggestion. First, I agree with the "smoke everything" approach, as that's part of the journey and trying a new smoke is always fun. You get one chance to try a new cigar for the first time, so make the most of each of those opportunities. For those looking...

Welcome from STL! I say check the threads to see what people are smoking around here, then smoke everything anyway - there's a million different sticks out there and the only way to know whether they're worthwhile or not is to try them. Bonus if you score some deals on the auction sites -...
