  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    I tend to smoke slow. If you smoke too fast the cigar turns bitter and ruins it. For 1.5 to 2 hours I like lonsdales or lanceros. The thinner ring gauge really demands you smoke slowly. Cohiba lanceros are wonderful, I highly recommend them. Monte especiales are good also.

    For the record, his first sentence was the Monte 2's Are better fresh, which is what i said he said. And, for the record, I never said your question was unreasonable. In fact, it is a good question. I just was pointing out he never said they were bad, that's all.

    Well, he didn't say they were bad, he just stated his opinion which is that the Monte's are better fresh. I happen to agree. Upmann's are notorious for needing time to come into themselves. But that doesn't necessarily mean they are bad.
