• BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    Audio's small walk-in

Added photo of singles cubby I just finished, using leftover mahogany. No heirloom furniture here, but not bad for a guy with a circular saw and a grinder lol

    Audio's small walk-in

My wife is NOT supportive of the habit but you never know until you ask! I was shocked; maybe you will be as well. It cost substantially less than an heirloom-quality cabinet humidor to build and there were seveal places I could have spent less... just saying.:ccowboy:

    Wine fridgeador humidity issues.

Live and learn. You can always bake the beads in your oven to dry them out. That way the'll always be on the absorbtion end as opposed to the humidifying end which most of us need, If it gets bad you can play with varying amounts of damp-rid or other dessicant which is made to absrob humidity...

    Wine fridgeador humidity issues.

If the hygros are accurate, have you tried drying out the beads? I've even left the door of my fridges ajar for a night to help dry them out a little. One you get that figured out, I'd put all the beads at the bottom; humid air rises so the sticks at the bottom should need the most help.

    Discontinued in 2012

You guys realize that list includes some formats (i.e. 50 cab) of a particular cigar, not always the cigar itself, right? They even axed 50 cabs of Boli PCs :tongueout but will continue making the 25 dress box. If they do "discontinue" a cigar it may be for a period of time as well, and not...

    Best Corona Gorda

Opinions are like... you kow. IMO, H Upmann MAG 46 for value. the Sig VIs are hard to beat when on, but are pricey and subject to on/off variances like any other Habano.

+1, plus beads are lower maintenance.

    Efficient Storage Hydration

I wouldn't conside Boveda packa a cost effective long term solution. Beads are your best friend and if you're practical, kittly litter (round silica beads) will do the job just fine; I trust all my babies to the same stuff my cat could piss on.

    new coolidor

IMO if you don't need the small door but the cooler otherwise fits the bill, seal it with a low-VOC silicone so you have no concerns. You need to air a new cooler out prior to use anyway, so the silicone would have sufficuent time to cure before you load it up.

    New Canadian BOTL

LOL I don't watch hockey or football, so whatever team you cheer for is my favorite. I only smoke Cubans, just because I love the twang. I readily concede their poor construction is inferior to NCs, but what can you do? I prefer Bolivar, LGC, Cohiba but dabble pretty much across the board.

    Audio's small walk-in

Hi, I'm Audio and I have a cigar problem. My problem was multiple bar fridges and cooler filled with cigars. Ugly, disorganized and tough to find anything, I had to do better. I found an unused corner of my basement, using below-grade walls which don't receive any sun. I framed it, poly'd...

    New Canadian BOTL

Hi all; thanks for having me. I've been actively smoking for around 10 years, "collecting' for the better part of that. Life is busy so I often refer to this as my collection rather than a hobby, but that all changes as cigars improve with age. I recently completed a small walk-in humi in my...
