  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    Real or Fake???

    Judging authenticity by bands alone is not recommended. When dealing with printing presses (sometimes old ones at that) quality of bands can vary within a box. Nothing from the pictures you provided looks suspect and the box code is legit.

    I'm with you Clint....Rauchbier is an acquired taste but not one for me. But The Germans put out some other great beer so I wouldn;t go as far as callign them nutjobs LOL! One beer I couldn't stomach either was Tequiza! Yuck and guess what, no tequila in there to boot.

    not trying to sound like a smart ass here but if you can't separate the flavors form the mystique then maybe that is the case. try an experiment. smoke a blind sampler of 2 unbanded sticks....one a CC and the other NC and let us know whether you still think it's the mystique :grin:

    The Curve is cool....and it runs on the EDGE network which is faster than their traditional speeds. I also like the fact that the Curve is smaller yet the full QWERTY keyboard is still functional with larger fingers.

    Just saw this post.....too many things to point out that these are fakes. From the box stamp code and font, lack of triple caps, the incorrect bands, the Habanos chevron and the EL chevron, the Habanos SA stamp on the bottom of the box, lack of a warranty seal, no 2006 release of a Cohiba...

    It is true. PCC ages cigars in their warehouses and releases them to authorized sellers at a premium. Many have 5-7 years of age on them when they're released. I'm curious, why do you ask?
