    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    Think about charring a few small whole pieces of oak and include that in your mix. Bourbon barrels and some wine varieties used charred oak barrels to age the product. Not like charcoal but torched to blacken the wood a bit.

    I had a stem crack on a couple of pipes. You just replace the stem as long as you can find the right stem to fit. One was easy the other one had an uncommon filter so it took some tracking down to find a replacement stem.
