  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    Most of the Panatelas aren't "mild", you just have to get away form the brands that are notoriously mild. The Davidoff Classic No. 2 is a Corona, so I'm not sure what size exactly you are looking for, but there's plenty of small ring gauges that are medium-full/full.

    Most don't offer samplers in Dallas. Sacred has some, Cigar Warehouse has some bundle samplers, Kent has some at various price points at Elite.

    The problem IMO is the samplers, it's where you are buying the samplers from. If you are getting them from any of the catalog retailers, they are always going to have their house exclusives in some shape or form. The few B&M-type shops that to do them, do them well for the most part.

    I won't be here, but I'd love to be. Matt Booth, Frank Herrera, Sean Williams, Jon Huber... four of the absolute "chillest" people to hang out with. Those four are all about laid back, real talk and having fun. The guys at Burns are great people and I imagine you might see some other local shops...

    All I would say is... If you are just a consumer and plan on going... don't mention it. Last thing that needs to happen is someone at the IPCPR reading some thread of 50 consumers talk about how they are going. I do welcome the kick ass BOTL party. The Hawaiian delegation did a great job...
