BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Daily Workout
I'm 4 days into P90X2 after having done a couple rounds of original P90X and feeling great. I'm using Jack3d on big routine days, so not every day. So far, I really like it.- mthhurley

We may have BOTL O'Beer 2 in early planning stages. Squaring up some ideas, but I think the group is onto something. :grin: -

For many of us, this time of year forces us to either head to a lounge, find a quick smoke or freeze next to heater/fire. So I'm always on the lookout for a good quick/winter smoke. For me, there are 3 or 4. Tat PCR DPG Firecracker PLPC and uber quick is a Tat Petit What are yours? -

One of the really good brewers in My local brew club just posted this: If you are an extract brewer and a hop head, check out Northern Brewers Dead Ringer, a clone of Bells Two Hearted and as good as DFH 60 Minute. This kit is as good as extract gets. -

Justin I think there's a bottle brush in your starter kit. I use StarSan. Others use Iodophor. I don't like the iodine based ones because they stain. I'd go with the first pot. -

This is why more advanced brewers use RO water. You are starting with clean water and can adjust it to meet your brews needs. Not needed for a beginner unless you really have toilet water as your base. Remember that water is the #1 ingredient so it will impact flavor. -

You should be able to get a water report from your local municipality. Check their website and let us know what it says. We can go from there.
