BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Pheasants is a good place to go if you want to get boxes of Tats or Illusiones, but if you're looking to get some Fuentes (Hemingways, Opuses, they even have some Añejos) or Padróns, try out Cigarbox on Western––their prices there are decent (pretty close to MSRP). But I agree with... -

I'd hate to butt in on Michigan's question, but MRN refers to Min Ron Nee's An Illustrated Encyclopedia of Post-Revolution Havana Cigars. And yes, a lot of good quality cigars like Padrons, Tats, etc. do tend to get a bit smoother over time, though the exact length would depend on the cigar... -

I really like these. I've smoked the corona gorda, the big figurado (the Magistri), and the churchill (the Centuria). The latter's my favorite: a thick, charred flavor, some citrus, a lot of earthiness (slightly musty, like mushrooms), a bit floral. These seem to be a slightly polarizing... -

AB Prensado
I've only had one, and I liked it. I prefer the Tempuses to these, but the musty wet wood quality of the Prensado Corona Gorda I smoked was, to me, appealing. -

Interesting. Incidentally, I had an 8-9-8 from '98 (given to me by Brooks) a couple months ago and a younger one (less than a year old) a few weeks ago. The '98 is the oldest cigar I've ever had, and it was remarkable––the thickness of the flavors were definitely thinned out a bit... -
