• BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

What is your current 'go to ' CC?

Don't get me wrong. I appreciate charity, and the value of the help our Government provides to other nations in situations like these, but for the love of God, how can we possibly afford all of this foreign aid when our own Government is beyond broke? Christ. What's the solution to being broke...

Sweet Brooks. Looking forward to this guy's new brand, given the things I have heard about the test blends he sent out to some bloggers.

    Anyone used one of these?

Their work is amazing. They are doing the humidors for ChiefHava's Cromagnon line, which look awesome. Also, the custom humidors they have posted on their website... holy cow. Some day, once I get my Pharm D. I hope to be able to afford one of these things.

    A different way to cut

Interesting. Thanks Flyboy! This might make some of my shitty, old, now-dull cutters useable again.

    CBid sent me wrong items...advice?

I have found that Cigar.com and Cbid, despite not always pushing the best cigars (some of their exclusive stuff, which they advertise the crap out of is... well, crap), their customer service is phenomenal. Some of the best, fastest responses I have ever gotten, and they are really good at...

    Opus X Nicotine Strength

For some reason Opus X cigars are some of the only cigars I find to make me "Nic-Sick".

    Opus X or CC?

Tough question. Most days, CC. Age is also a factor. Of course, it also depends on what CC you are talking about. If we're talking Cuaba? No thanks, Opus. If we're talking BHK 54, then uh... Behike.

    New kind of cutter?

Yeah this looks like a disaster. Also, controlling the draw? Looks like it would cause every cigar to have a tight draw...

    Oliva Cain F lancero

Definitely stoked for these, despite not loving the Cain brand as a whole, I just hear too many good things about this particular vitola.

Of these Opus, which one do you prefer?

AMEN, HALLELUJAH, etc. There isn't a "bad" size in the line, though there are sizes I like more than others. I'm in the minority I know, but I don't think the Power Ranger is nearly as good as it is hyped as being.

    Forgotten Cigars....

Good one. The VSG, for being as big a name as it is, and as good as it is... It definitely doesn't get talked about much, and I have only ever smoked a few of them. I just always get distracted from them, or pick up something less expensive (I will say, I think the VSG, at least at my locals, is...

    Forgotten Cigars....

With age, even the newer ones (made at Raices Cubanas I think) are great. Padilla is definitely the whole brand that I forget about, and every once in a while find one buried in the humidor, like the Dominus I found recently that I bought right when I started smoking cigars. WOW. With that much...

Always wondered about these. I think they are a Holt's exclusive. Anyone had them? Any good? Why are they so much less expensive than the regular lines.

Awesome. Really forward to those SS Maddys. Also, I was shocked the other day to find that my local still has a handful of 858SG's from LAST year. if I didn't already have a handful of them, I would have jumped.
