  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    I agree, out of the La Riq. line, the No. 3 is my favorite. No. 2 is a close second. These have become a favorite lunch-time smoke at one of my local shops, around 12:00-2:00 everyone has one.

    I've been considering getting a membership at a local shop - the lockers are in the humidor, so that's nice, the locker is $120/year for a 10x10x10 locker, $180 for a "double-size" and $250 for a triple. $50 sounds great to me!

    I'm been curious about these, too. A guy was in a local shop the other week, smoking some cigar with numbers on it and nothing else. He said it was a nice medium smoke. Some of their others look really interesting, the Juke Series Red Label and Cerberus. ...I like their "Advertising"...

    I'm pretty sure it exists...it's in my pocket! :cool: It's not listed on their site, but if you talk to your local B&M they can order it. It's part of their new carbon fiber set (which I bought): lighter, case, cutter. Lists for about the same as the Cuban-style EX lighters. *Edit* Moro...

    I have a Xikar EX which is relly nice cuz it's windproof and it's carbon fiber so I think it looks really cool. I also have a Montecristo Signature lighter with double soft flames which is fantastic, I love that thing. Cheaper than a Dupont or Davidoff 'ping' too. Overall if you're looking...

    vperlman, thanks for the info. I have the Xikar cigar case w/ a pressure release screw, so that's handy. I don't think I'll even pack a torch in a Transpak, some sticky-fingered guy scavanging though my stuff might take a liking to it. Good thinking printing out the guidelines.

    Interesting. I'm looking to get a wine cooler too, but I don't like the foam brick in the Oasis, dunno why. cf2112 - Woud you recommend one of the units over the other, looking past the power loss issue w/ the Hydra? Does the Hydra come with 'Super Absorbant Poly"?

I have a 15 ct. travel case, but I also have a Xikar/X-Trend 30-50 ct. on order at a local B&M (only $45) for when I got to Miami next month.     Not sure about how many were made, but three shops near my got them, one got 5 out of a 10 box order, another got 4 or 5, and another said he got 10, but I dunno. I would assume most are similar...?
