  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    not cheap, but I have always heard people recommend this one, http://www.amazon.com/Baratza-Encore-Conical-Coffee-Grinder/dp/B00LW8122Y/ for a little less, I have been recommended (and own) this one, but have been told that it isn't the best to use for real espresso...

    I use a Toddy for cold brew and just follow the ratio in the insturctions, off the top of my head i think it is 7 cups of water for 12oz of ground coffee

    Just a couple thoughts, HCM beads also adjust their rh level, so if they were in a lower rh environment for awhile I think they might have dropped their rh (like how you put them in the fridge for a little bit if you want to lower the rh they are set at). So you might have to check their rh...

    I vote for bcjs or huhcs. But you can always host box splits so you can try them out before committing to full boxes
