BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Steve Faccenda, I only met him once.
Steve was one helluva guy who battled cancer to the bitter end. He went by TOJE on cigarweekly and some other boards. When he passed away I smoked a Brazilia in his memory. RIP Steve.- tubaman

Please do not take this the wrong way, I'm not trying to offend anyone at all, but this is a question that can not really be answered IMO. I really don't know how someone can define a "Cuban" flavor when they all taste so different. If a Monte tastes different from cohiba which tastes... -

BBQ charcoal/wood storage
Hickory works great as well as any fruitwood. I have some apple wood that gives a light smoky flavor. I also like to use sassafras wood, VERY tasty. Mesquite is too strong for my liking, but if you like it that's all that matters! -
Any dirt track racing fans here
When I was a kid I would go to the dirt track races at a local track. I went more for the mischief I could get into than the races.- tubaman

Cabin Fever Maple Whiskey
Yes, soon!!! I cracked my bottle too and it isn't really what I like. I like sweet, but not that sweet. I could see using that in my eggnog as John said. And I will also use this in some cooking recipes that I use whiskey in, could add an interesting dimension. -

No way....?!?!?
Just an FYI, there are a number of overseas vendors that freeze every box they receive before putting the them in their own warehouses. I have tried cigars from different boxes with the same box code where one was frozen and the other was not and I could not tell any difference. I may not have... -

You are exactly right. Remember last year, the Yankees were not good at all the first couple months of the season and the Sox looked like they were going to steamroll to the WS. And don't forget about Tampa Bay, they look very tough too! Should be a fun year this year in the AL East!! -

Yeah, but it gets posted in the habanos section, and most of the people that post in it smoke NON CUBANS!!! I've NEVER understood that, it's ridiculous!!!!! Why people post what NON cuban cigar in the habanos section makes no sense!!! Ok, I'm done with my rant. -
