  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    I usually use a Craftsman's Bench V-cutter that I got in a package deal with five CAO Blacks and a 5-count Herf-a-Dor. Works perfect, every single time. I do have a Xikar Rosewood cutter that is in pieces in a padded envelope waiting for me to send it back. That said, it worked great before...

    Before you let it burn out on its own, purge it. Blow back through the cigar, and when smoke mostly stops coming out the lit end, you're done. Set it on your ashtray and come back to it when you're ready. It won't be quite the same smoke when you get back, but it'll be close.
