BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Your latest pipe/pipe tobacco purchase thread....
as you can successfully navigate a bowl down farther without relights, just judicious use of the tamper and a good pack and light, it gets easier. two pipe nails in the car, and i can use them by feel while watching the road. my commute is only 15 worst case, and piping gives me a moment's...- javajunkie

this. they are tasty (coming from an anejo fan), but don't be afraid to recut a little. or to wait, see if it opens up during the smoke. and, yes, timing is everything in smaller rings. if it was a wind tunnel, it wouldn't be worth your time at all.- javajunkie

Tobacco of Choice for Break-In?
carter hall or prince albert, old school burley heavy OTCs, are the kings. they burn cool and clean, and very easily, and burley is usually the quickest for cake formation.
