  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    A lot of cigars are spicy, but a tip to remember is anything with a lot of Ligero is going to pack spice. JDN, Padron, AJ Fernandez, Oliva, all pack spice in the flavor profile.     I'm a Padron fan, I've smoked my share of them. If I had to pick one other the other...... I pick Padron simply from experience. The Padron 5000 is great and the Anniversary Series are like...... Idk just Damn good.

    Swelling/Splitting Issues

    Swelling or bursting only occurs when sticks are way overhumidified in my experience. They need a long rest in an acclimated humidor. I'd say 2 months or so. Welcome btw.

    No swoosh at all. The seal is horrible. I'm just going to scrap it and use Tupperware until I can afford another wineador.

    I didn't put any smokes in it! That's the problem. It drops in a day, like a rock in water. As soon as I take the bowl out.

    Truth. Garbage is an understatement. I'm going to give it to my dad to store stuff in. He loves wooden boxes, it'll make his day. I'm gonna use Tupperware and Ziplocs like you said, since I can't afford another Whynter yet.
