• BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    Pre-Castro Cigars

The do get cuban tobbacco to make cigars, but what they do is buy up old cigars, mostly clear havana's mostly not in good shape and use enough to get away with the legality of advertising it that way. They don't tell you how much Cuban Pre-Embargo leaf they use, and from what I've heard it's...

    Need some advice/help

We have a winner, and kindly tell your friend thanks but in the future if he wishes to be kind, to do so with a good stick or two rather than a bundle. Tell him a bundle is kind of like getting a case of Ripple wine, as opposed to one nice bottle. I've trained all my friends to not even try and...

Ligo Privada #9...not worth the cake

thanks for the review, and I don't think you can judge the strength of a cigar by it's skin. I know at one time it was the case, but today I dont' think many follow that rule. Of my favorite heavy smokes none are a Maduro. You might want to try out some of the Illusione line if you like heavy...

    is this quality

As long as it holds a seal and you load it with a good enough humidification unit, you can use just about anything as long as it donsn't have any bad odors in it. I respect and like craftsmanship, but an Oasis or several pounds of beads in a wood crate will work, I'm sure that will be fine once...

Is it just me, or are Rocky Patels hard-to-draw?

I'm not a RP fan, and part of the reason was it seemed like they had construction issues more often than some of the other brands back when I was trying them out. Maybe it was the shop I was getting them from, they do over humidify some times. Curious to hear what others say, don't give my...
