BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

10 gallons of EdWort's Oktoberfest will be going from the secondary to the keg tomorrow. Been cold crashing for a week now. One pass through the filter and it should be ready for our annual Halloween party. -

I'm an official hop head but I'm just not cool with the idea of a low ABV IPA. One of the best parts of an IPA is they are usually at least 6.5% if you take that away then your just drinking hops. I'm a full believer in drink (and smoke) what you like though. Everyone's tastes are... -

Hello fellow Kansan! There's at least 2 of us on here now lol. Is LB brewing finally canning or is there a 2nd brewery in Hays now? I love LB brewing but I am adamantly against session IPA's. -

When I first made the switch over to AG I used a coleman cooler with a braided hose, worked really well. Cost about $6 + spigot to make if you already have a cooler. You can also make a 13.5 gallon pot with an old keg and a dremel. If you think of going that route let me know and I'll send... -

I do a nice Imp Oatmeal Stout for winter or an Imp Nut Brown ale also works (I roast almonds and add them to the secondary). Both need to age for a bit so you'll need to get started ASAP if you go that route. That's one thing that kind of sucks about homebrewing, you need to be thinking 4-5... -
