  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    tobby4, now that you mention it (and I really think it thru) I believe you are correct. It made a lot of jobs, the jobs were paid for by legislature, which also meant more administration, which lead to big goverment debt, which means more taxes to pay said debt, and now we ALLLLL have to file...

    I believe WWII did help, as did the Roosevelt's "New Deal" which really help spur the economy. I guess it created a lot of jobs. It had it's share of failures as well.

    Actually the first tax return came out in 1914, pre-depression. I only know because dad is a CPA and he a has a copy of one hanging. Care to rethink the depression as the cause? :usaflag:
