BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

What brand/model is your cooler?
Igloo 38qt I have 3 cigar boxes and a stick of RH beads in it. I really should get a hydrometer. God knows what it is like in there I just burp it every couple weeks and put water in the beads every now and then. -

I have been "remodeling" my bedroom lately and throwing out a bunch of old stuff. I have had a lock box I made just for the heck of it a few years ago and I figure I would add to it and try to make it look better, line it with some black felt to make it soft inside and add trim, handles. But here is what I did: I did pick up a few techniques/ideas when I was doing this and next year I know my gourds will be looking way more cooler and detailed. How much does/has the band of a cigar influence(d) you perception of it?
I always would pick the coolest looking ones from the local shop. Once you smoke a few you will learn that it will have nothing to do with the band. But I would say the band does have an affect on what one you get for sure. Even if you do not think so.
