• BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Anniversary series was a pretty good marketing gimmick. I know it's not what you're talking about, but still... Maybe it wasn't super crazy marketing like what the thread implies but it's been done. H.Uppman Office Jars go WAAAAAAAY back. Litho tins from the teen's through the 60's were...

What will happen to the NC manufacturers when the embargo is lifted ?

Let me illustrate a little better...1999-2001 cigars suck ass. Why? Think of the internet, that's when the the embargo was breached by the US cigar smoker. Maybe some of these duty free sites will open up B&M's here in the states. Wouldn't that be something?

What will happen to the NC manufacturers when the embargo is lifted ?

I don't know if the title of the thread is suggesting that non-Cuban tobacco is sub-par or not but the reality is there probably isn't that many regular cigar smokers who don't already buy Cuban cigars. Look at all the members here who regularly post in the look at me thread for Habano's or how...

    Bacon Wrapped Eggs

Soggy chewy Bacon on my end too. Maple Bacon is the way to go, there was some Bacon flavor but not that much. More maple than Bacon. Next time I'll bake the Bacon first so it will crisp up more if fat renders first. All in all pretty good just not awesome.

How Old Is Too Old For An Opus?

I had a couple of Opus back in 98 but it was THE grail cigar to find. It was harder than hell to find anything back then. There really wasn't anything setup online to help search for cigars like there is now and half the time when you found a shop that HAD them, well that was close enough. I...

Need info on Partagas 150 Don Ramon

Smoked best about 10 years ago. The ones I have had in the past 5 years are extremely light. These are a little past prime.

Need info on Partagas 150 Don Ramon

IIRC the 150's were rolled with some cameroon wrapper that they found in the warehouse, supposedly already 18+ years old. The 'book' sold for MSRP of $5000 and was a 10ct humidor holding 10 coffins. 1000 'books' released, 10,000 cigars rolled. Crazy prices if you ask me though.
